Why organizing football isn't as easy as it looks ⚽
Many people only see the 90 minutes on the pitch, but there's a lot that happens behind the scenes to make every game possible.
Here are some of the biggest challenges:
• Last-minute cancellations. This is the biggest issue. One cancellation often affects everyone else. That's why we have a 6-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within those 6 hours, the €10 cancellation fee applies. It isn't about making money—it's about covering costs and encouraging reliability.
• Late arrivals. When players arrive after kickoff, teams have already been organized, warm-ups are interrupted, and everyone else has to wait.
• Payments not completed in advance. Chasing payments on the pitch wastes valuable playing time. Please make sure your payment is completed before arriving.
• Special team requests. Requests like "I only want to play with my friends" or "I don't want to be on the same team as someone else" make it much harder to create balanced teams. We do our best to accommodate everyone, but fairness for the whole group comes first.
• Last-minute registrations. Waiting until the afternoon or evening to decide whether to play creates major logistical problems. We often need to decide in advance whether to book an additional pitch or release one we've already reserved. Last-minute joins make that planning extremely difficult.
• Disruptive behaviour. Fortunately, this is rare, but occasionally a few players create unnecessary conflict or arguments that affect the experience for everyone. Respect for teammates, opponents, and organizers is expected from everyone.
Our goal is simple: to provide the best possible football experience for everyone. The rules aren't there to make things difficult—they help us organize balanced games, secure the right number of pitches, keep costs fair, and ensure everyone gets the quality experience they signed up for.
