I want to let everyone know that we have a football website starting with this year.
Please book your football tickets thru this website. Please continue to Rsvp via meetup.com but keep in mind that the pitches but also everyone’s contribution is done via internet banking *(credit card or paypal).
Why is important now internet banking?
1) It is important that we stay in line with the current COVID regulation. Doing the payments online, we assure that we have the correct name of anyone who takes part of the event *(not only his meetup nickname). In case of an emergency (ex. medical investigation), we have all the contacts, email & phone numbers but also the billing addresses. I assure everyone that these information are kept secret with my payment provider, stripe.com // sorry for the 60 cents payment fee. This amount goes to the payment provider. I am working to have this solved somehow.
2) We are building a solid football community for future developments. We are already almost 1600 members in meetup football friendly Vienna and the plans are big. I will let you know the new ideas in the following weeks. It is important to become an independent community, with membership cards (ex Spielerpasses) and with different facilities available to members only.
3) It is an important management aspect to have people payments confirmed as we need to know exactly what type of football pitch we need for certain football event. It will also allow us to further develop the events without paying too much attention to book their place but forget to join us or cancel last minute because of various reason.
So please keep in mind that only Paid registered members are confirmed to play football.
