Football Friendly Festival Summer League Coming
“Goalkeepers Are Kings” League
Football Friendly Festival, by Sorin
REGISTRATION
Art 1 Every team captain (Goalkeeper) can register 15 names max. per team But the games are 7+1 (1 Goalkeeper and 7 field players per match). The list needs to be published so we all know what to expect the game day. Every game should take no more than 25 minutes and can be played during Meetup gatherings, Tuesday nights, Thursday nights or Sunday nights. Players need to have an ID with them the day of the match for possible random controls. Finding players not listed in advance will invalidate the game. The 15 names need to be up to date, and changes are allowed every 3 months. You don’t need to fill 15 names all at once, you only need 7+1 to be able to play a match. The matches can be played when at least 6 players are present.
SCORING
Art 2 The games are played with one neutral 1 supervisor where his/her main job is to make sure that the games are played friendly with no incidents, no sliding, no injuries. Any disturbances during the game will be reported after the game. The supervisor will write a short report about what happened together with the goalscorers, and as a special note, the players who assisted every goal. Based on the report, the final score will be officially recorded or removed. A game that is being removed – this simply means that the game conditions were not ideal and the game needs to be re/scheduled.
VIDEO ASISTANT REFEREE
Art 3 Every game needs to be video recorded and VAR analysis will also be attached to Supervisor report the very next day. The VAR analysis done post-game by Team Captains will validate or invalidate the final score. An agreement is required together with the Supervisor. At least 2 votes Yes out of 3 are required. It is likely that the final score is adjusted post-game thru the VAR analysis. Goals (assists) can be adjusted as per video recordings. Ex. A goal scored with a hand might get invalidated by VAR if it was recorded by the Supervisor during the game.
GAME MANAGEMENT - SUBS
Art 4 There are no yellow / red cards. Supervisor or Team Captain are the ones requiring changes in case is necessary. Injuries, misconduct, dangerous play, etc. Players need to leave the pitch before another player enters the pitch. The changes are made only when the game is stopped and only requested by the team in possession or by the Supervisor. After each goal, game starts from the middle of the pitch. This is required for the VEO to properly record a goal and have it listed in the GOALs section.
THROW INS – ALL INDIRECT FREE KICKS
Art 5 All Throw-Ins are hands executed, ball over the head with no special technicalities required. This is to ensure game fluidity and avoid frustrating everyone. All faults are indirect-free kicks. No free kick allowed. If the kick is directly executed is considered a fault and ball is awarded to opponent’s Gk. This is to ensure that GK are protected.
AGREEMENTS AND SPECIAL PASSES BACK
Art 6 There are no rounds as in a regular season. All teams need to play each other during the competitions time frame – either 6 or 12 months (to be determined). There is need for a game agreement between captains. The shirts need to be different, no offside rules apply, and the goalkeepers are allowed to receive the ball in their hands from a pass back but only once. If the ball is back in the play, ball needs to be touched by the opponent team for another pass back to happen.
POINTS & RESULTS
Art 7 Every team starts with 7 points but as soon as the matches are recorded, the 0-0 will get to change, either by winning 2 points more, or losing one point. It is also possible that game will end in a draw (like 2-2 or 3-3), and then only goal difference will slightly change in tables. At the end of the season, all 0-0 (to be scheduled games) will be removed from the stats & from the tables.
STATS & BRAGGING RIGHTS
Art 8 All games are subject to be statistically evaluated. To be determined the extent of what stats will be used and presented to all teams involved.
SECURITY FIRST – FOCUS ON GAME EXPERIENCE
Art 9 The games are VEO video recorded. The purpose is to make sure that the games are correctly played, absolutely no one gets injured, that there are no rough tackles, no incidents or other non-friendly or bad anti-social events happening. It is an extra social security measure to make sure that everyone has a pleasant experience no matter the football skill involved. The problems inside groups are managed by team captains, aka Goalkeepers. Problems between teams are resolved by team captains together with the games Supervisor.
Art 10 This is just a fun social friendly competition organized by Sorin thru the Meetup Football Friendly Vienna. It is private managed and the cost for participants is done thru the normal Meetup application – 15 euros per play per person involved. Discount applies in certain conditions. To be determined.
