11 v 11 Full Pitch Football – Meetup United
Hey guys – thought to write down a few words about our full pitch football experience.
In the early of 2018 we register a new club in the DSG world, which is a semi-independent Vienna Football Catholic Church Association (acronym used DSG). DSG Vienna has a league system that contains at this point ¬5 levels.

DSG Liga – Oberliga (Serie A & Serie B) – Unterliga (Serie A & Serie B) – 1e Klasse (Serie A & Serie B) – 2e Klasse (Serie A & Serie B) but also a Championship of Reserves where certain clubs (with a large base of registered players) want to play using a second team. Meetup also registered one team in the DSG Reserves Championship (2025/20226). A division is usually based on 12 to 14 teams, so basically everyone plays everyone 2 times, thru the entire year. An average of 22 matches. There is also a knockout competition, DSG Cup. We are registered to play there as well. We usually play easy 3-4 knock/out rounds. We also organize 5-10 official DSG training games. So you can play of about 30/35 matches in about 12 months of competition.
Meetup Team A is TODAY part of the Unterliga B. Meetup Team B will exist from June forward. We are about to finalize the registration process for the new season, 2025-2026.

Most probably, next season we will be playing also Unterliga matches. But we will also be part of the Reserves Championship using our Team B. Here is a link to see how it is looking like right now, Meetup decided last year to keep the Reserves team in stanby without competition games, only friendlies.

In case you want to be part of this project *(season 2025/2026), please message Sorin via WhatsApp and we can discuss details. You will need to be register first, have your own identity, your own stats so you can play also in the official matches, not only in the friendly – preparation games.
Rewards – Costs – Strategy
We are always trying to find solutions and combine the fun of playing 11 aside with the competitive aspect of things. The idea is to engage everyone in a fun, outdoor, sporty activities in such a way that we merge the camaraderie, the beauty of the dressing room, the excitement and the possible financial rewarding at the end of the season.
To be eligible to play & fully participate, you NEED to be REGISTERED.
Registration can be done in 2 steps – 1/ you provide copies required by the football authorities (copy of your meldetzettel, travel passport, driver license if any) 2/ you will receive a registration document that you need to get it signed by your doctor and by yourself 3/ pushing out all these documents together and wait for the magic to happen -. Usually the process is completed within 1 month or so.
The fee per year to participate is 170e as it is right now (based on the costs associated with the referees, rent pitches, spielerpass fees, and other league costs). This covers all your OFICIAL 11 v 11 matches and trainings + plus FRIENDLIES (organized in the DSG system). The other events, like Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays will cost you only 10 per game/event.
In case the group performs - Club promotes to Oberliga (from Unterliga) everyone is rewarded 150e at the end of the season (month of August) if the player holds a valid Meetup United registration *(basically if the player is still with the club). Basically, money back except the 20e Spielerpass fee.
As a subscriber, all other Meetup football events are discounted in different ways.
Tuesdays, Thursdays, Sundays football tournament are 10e, just to name one.
